“Silence is not enough” in new poster & TV spot for A Quiet Place: Part II

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The release of A QUIET PLACE: PART II is less than a month away and while the notion behind the film is stay silent, the marketing campaign from Paramount Pictures is starting to get loud with the release of a new poster and TV spot for the highly anticipated film.

The new spot pretty much shows us more of the same and I have to say that I'm happy Paramount has chosen to really not give away too much while also showcasing the growing tension the dread that made the original film so palpable. We can tell that the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe) are facing the same terrors from the film's predecessor but now most face threats from the outside world as they fight for survival. New characters played by Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou appear to be an added threat to go along with the creatures that hunt by sound.

John Krasinski returnsto helm the sequel which follows the events of the first film. A QUIET PLACE became a bit of a surprise hit when it was released in 2018 grossing $340.9 million worldwide while also becoming a big hit with critics in a major win for the horror genre. I loved the first film and was apprehensive when I heard a sequel was coming because it appeared to be motivated solely by money but all the trailers so far have been top notch and they have me pumped for what's in store.

Do YOU think A QUIET PLACE: PART II will live up to the original? The film hits screens March 20, 2020. You can check out the new poster released for the film below.
