Step aside, Lady Gaga, Russell Crowe is wearing the poker face now! Falco Ink. and Screen Media is holding a Royal Flush today thanks to the new Poker Face trailer. Crowe directs and leads this new thriller, depicting a treacherous game of cards that turns deadly for every player.

Set in the world of high-stakes poker, Crowe stars as tech billionaire and gambler Jake Foley who gives his best friends a night they’ll never forget, a chance to win more money than they’ve ever dreamed of. But to play, they’ll have to give up the one thing they spend their lives trying to keep their secrets. As the game unfolds, the friends will discover what is really at stake.

Liam Hemsworth, RZA, and Elsa Pataky join Crowe for an evening of deception, hostile takeovers, and secrets revealed. There are no guarantees that everyone will make it out alive, and the house always wins. In addition to directing and acting in Poker Face, Crowe co-wrote the script with Stephen M. Coates.

Crowe’s Poker Face trailer presents an intense scenario where Crowe’s Jake Foley experiences a home invasion after poisoning the players. With the clock ticking down, the group bands together to defend what little time they have left. Money isn’t the only prize on the line, and no one likes a sore loser.

In other Crowe-related news, the actor will be a guest at the XX edition of Alice Nella Città, the autonomous and parallel section of the Festa del Cinema di Roma. Crowe will be in Rome to collect the Special Award during the twentieth anniversary of Alice nella Città and to participate in a masterclass open to film schools and the public.
