Ryan Murphy gives details about AHS Murder House/Coven crossover season

Last Updated on July 21, 2021

While American Horror Story has been renewed for two more seasons, and Ryan Murphy has teased there will be a MURDER HOUSE/COVEN crossover, it doesn't look to be happening this coming season (season 7). Bummer. However, AHS creator Murphy did give some more details about the planned/eventual crossover in a recent interview with EW:

“It’s a character from season 1 that will be thrust into the world that you are left with at the end of Coven, which is sort of like the male/female/witch academy. And then all of those characters will intertwine, which is confusing because some of them are from seasons 1 and 3.”

While I could be labeled a "half-assed" AHS fan at best, I was a BIG fan of Murder House and I fell deep into COVEN (gotta love Emma Roberts) so, personally, I cannot wait for this alleged crossover. I am all for a situation which pivots Rubber Man against a coven of witches living (or "schooling") in a haunted house. That's a bonkers-ass premise, and if anyone can make it work, it'd be Ryan Murphy and the AHS crew. Let's just hope they can stick the landing this time…

Was that mean? Nah. They're adults. They know what they've done.

American Horror Story S7 will debut on FX later this year.
