Skarsgard & Wolff are soldiers, brothers & enemies in The Kill Team trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Adapted from the 2013 documentary of the same name, THE KILL TEAM tells the story of a young American soldier (Nat Wolff) in Afghanistan who struggles between his conscience and his survival when he's coerced by his new sergeant (Alexander Skarsgard) into a murderous scheme which involves killing civilians. A24 has released the first trailer for the psychological drama, and by the looks of things, THE KILL TEAM will get quite intense. Always love when Skarsgard plays the bad guy.

The real-life events on which THE KILL TEAM is based, known as the Maywand District Murders, found five U.S. Army soldier being charged with the murder of three Afghan civilians, along with seven others being charged with participating in a cover-up. Written and directed by Dan Krauss, who also helmed the 2013 documentary, THE KILL TEAM doesn't have a release date just yet, but is expected to hit theaters later this year.
