All I really knew about PEACOCK was that it was a small-town thriller starring Cillian Murphy. Imagine my surprise watching the trailer and seeing him playing a woman. Not a bad looking one, at that.

The synopsis: John Skillpa, a quiet bank clerk living in tiny Peacock, Nebraska, prefers to live an invisible life. This might have to do with John's secret: he has another personality no one knows about, a woman who each morning does his chores and cooks him breakfast before he starts his day. Then, in a moment, everything changes...

The movie also features Ellen Page, Susan Sarandon, Josh Lucas, Bull Pullman, and the other Cillian Murphy.

Cillian Murphy is completely underrated. Hopefully this is the role that gives him the attention he rightfully deserves.

I love Murphy and would love to see him nominated someday, but I don't think he's eligible for this movie. It's getting a straight to dvd release next month.
