Capt. America & Crossbones duke it out in behind-the-scenes Civil War video

Monday gave us our first look at the scarred face of Frank Grillo's Crossbones in the upcoming CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. As others have noted, it's entirely possible that the minimal scarring is just for when he has his mask on, and then a more charred visage may be saved for a later unveiling. I certainly hope that's the case!

Moving on, we have some pretty cool video from the set of CIVIL WAR which includes Crossbones and Chris Evans' Captain America duking it out. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo turned every encounter Cap had with the Winter Soldier into a tense and thrilling affair, so I'm really itching to see how they handle each duel for CIVIL WAR. Here's some BTS footage on what's sure to be the first of many, plus some guest appearances!

Not to knock AGE OF ULTRON, but I'm very excited to see the enemy transition from "faceless" robots to various heroes and villains of the Marvel-verse. As you can see from some of the pictures above, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen and Scarlett Johannson were spotted on-set in Atlanta. I wonder if any of them will be joining in the fun that Falcon and Cap have found themselves in. Seriously, who is NOT excited about how this seems to be shaping up?!?

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR aims to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
