New trailer for The Nice Guys brings us mystery, murder, and a giant bee

As a big fan of KISS KISS BANG BANG, I'm about as excited as anyone could be for Shane Black's upcoming noir/comedy THE NICE GUYS, which he calls a "spiritual sequel" to KISS KISS BANG BANG. The film stars Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe as struggling private-eye Holland March and hired enforcer Jackson Healy respectively, "two working-class dudes who are forced to work together to solve the case of a missing girl and death of a porn star – an investigation that uncovers a surprising conspiracy with major ramifications for those in the highest positions of power." With a great mix of dark humour surrounding a tale of murder and mystery set in the 1970's, I feel lke THE NICE GUYS has the potential to become one of my favourite films of the year.

"Before we go solving the crime of the century, let's deal with the rotting corpse!"

A synopsis for THE NICE GUYS:

Set in 1970s Los Angeles, down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Ryan Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Russell Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.

THE NICE GUYS is set for a May 20, 2016 release.
