Eli Roth Presents: My Possessed Pet trailer: TV series coming to Travel Channel and discovery+

Eli Roth is venturing out of the horror genre again with his next feature film, the video game adaptation Borderlands, but he’s still bringing frights to the small screen as a producer… and the new horror show he’s working on now is something I never would have expected to see. The show is called Eli Roth Presents: My Possessed Pet, and you can watch a trailer for it in the embed above.

Eli Roth Presents: My Possessed Pet will premiere on Travel Channel on Friday, September 30th at 10pm, and will also be streaming on discovery+. Here’s a synopsis that lets us know what we can expect to see from the show’s hour-long episodes:

Few things are more profound than the quiet bond between a person and their pet. But what if an evil presence takes hold of the animal and uses the trusted companion to get to us? ELI ROTH PRESENTS: MY POSSESSED PET explores the true, terrifying tales of what happens when evil spirits, curses and demons take over family pets. Each episode will follow the chilling and deeply personal story of someone who has had their profound and loving relationship ripped apart by supernatural forces beyond their control.

What did you think of the trailer for Eli Roth Presents: My Possessed Pet? Will you be watching this show? Have you had first-hand experience with a possessed animal? Share your thoughts on this series by leaving a comment below. It’s such a bonkers concept for a series, I feel like there’s no way I’m not going to be watching it. I can’t say I’ve heard many stories about possessed pets over the years, so this series will be quite educational for me.

Other Roth-produced TV shows have included The Haunted Museum, Eli Roth’s History of Horror, Eli Roth Presents: A Ghost Ruined My Life, South of Hell, and Hemlock Grove.
