Excl: John Hook pics

Your buddies at AITH just got the scoop on a new horror indie stemming from Gregory Caiafa, the writer/director of the cool-sounding, upcoming INTRUDER. The new flick is called JOHN HOOK and as you can probably guess, it centers on a serial killer. In fact, Caiafa himself even said that it’s in the same vein as HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER. Have yourselves a stab at the plot:

Following a young drifter over several days of murder in the NYC borough of Staten Island, the story involves the titular character being taken in by two sisters whose parents had been murdered the previous year. Soon, John Hook finds himself under the wing of a low-level mob-enforcer who recognizes his tenacity, and sets out to use the young killer’s violent impulses to his advantage.

Kind of an interesting spin on things there. I like that whole deal involving the two sisters. I guess you could say that entire synopsis has me hooked. Sorry for the lameness — started drinking the Eggnog a little early.

Anyways, the flick stars Chris Russell (above in an exclusive pic as JOHN HOOK), and Alexandra Grossi and Michelle Van Schyndel as the two sisters. Caiafa says that HOOK is currently in post-production and looking to hit the festival circuit next Spring. You’ll find more exclusive pics below!
