Interview: Rampart Star Anne Heche

Walking in to talk to Anne Heche is sort of a surreal feeling. She has been one of those actresses that sort of disappears in her roles and is never afraid of a challenge. Her resume includes such television work as “Men in Trees”, “Everwood” and recently “Hung.” Funnily enough, the one role of hers that always impressed me was her cameo in I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER. Call me crazy, but she was freakin’ great as the crazy chick who gives Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar a good scare.

The thing was, it didn’t seem like the best way to start an interview by mentioning IKWYDLS, but I couldn’t resist. Thankfully, she was truly flattered by my praise and openly talked a little about the film. She also spoke about her work in the new feature from Oren Moverman called RAMPART. While it is a small role, she is absolutely terrific opposite the intense lead performance from the film’s star, Woody Harrelson. And did I happen to mention she looked incredibly stunning as well. RAMPART opens in limited release this coming Friday.

“We all know what Woody can do, I don’t think anybody has ever seen something quite as…mind-blowing as this performance. I think Woody is awesome…”
