Netflix’s Dark series is giving off a German Stranger Things-vibe

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I'm not going to lie, I am going through STRANGER THINGS withdrawals, so any show that can satiate my desire for twisty plots, dark secrets, kids getting into supernatural trouble, and moody atmosphere, has got my vote. I also enjoy a lot of foreign imports, so I'm definitely willing to give Netflix's new German sci-fi drama series DARK a chance.

Here's the official synopsis:

Dark is set in a German town in present day where the disappearance of two young children exposes the double lives and fractured relationships among four families. In ten, hour-long episodes, the story takes on a supernatural twist that ties back to the same town in 1986.

Apparently there's a bunch of weird shit, like time-travel and a supernatural boogeyman involved, besides everything else mentioned above. Glad I'm no longer in the DARK about this show!

Meanwhile, tou can watch DARK right now on Netflix!
