Paradise Z trailer previews January’s gore-splattered zombie thriller

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

A trailer has arrived online for director Wych Kaosayananda's "lesbian zombie apocalypse gore-fest" Paradise Z, which is getting a Digital release in the UK on January 4th. (Also known as Dead Earth, the film is available to watch on Amazon.com at THIS LINK.)

Something of a companion piece to Kaosayananda's 2019 zombie film The Driver, Paradise Z has the following synopsis:

Life in isolation might be the new normal, but Sylvia and Rose’s plans are ruined when the luxury paradise resort they are hunkering down in is attacked by the zombies that have taken over the rest of the world. The girls must fight their way out in this heart-pounding battle for survival… who will make it out alive?

Milena Gorum, Alice Tantayanon, Damian Mavis, and Michael S. New star.

Kaosayananda wrote the screenplay with Steve Poirier, crafting "a parallel story to The Driver, focusing on events that happen within the same post-apocalyptic world, with characters and locations intersecting between both films."

One of these days, I intend to watch The Driver and Paradise Z back-to-back. Check out the trailers and see if you would like to do the same.
