Asa Butterfield is the first child of Mars in The Space Between Us trailer
Every so often there seems to be a surge of interest in Mars and we get a handful of films following astronauts on, or traveling to, the red planet. On the heels of THE MARTIAN, one of the most successful films to be set on Mars, we're due to return with Peter Chelsom's THE SPACE BETWEEN US. The film follows Gardner Elliot (Asa Butterfield), the first person to be born on Mars as he begins an online romance with Tulsa (Britt Robertson) and hatches a plan to travel across the universe to meet her. Way to go Elliot, you're making us all look bad. STX Entertainment has released the first trailer for THE SPACE BETWEEN US and although it looks promising, you should know that this trailer seems to be one of those which gives away the entire plot of the film.
"Bring him home!"
