A24 observes Ash Wednesday with Saint Maud trailer and poster

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

A couple months ago, genre distributor A24 released a trailer for writer-director Rose Glass's psychological / religious horror film SAINT MAUD, along with a poster that simply featured the text "Your Savior Is Coming". Today is Ash Wednesday, and A24 is marking the occasion by releasing a new trailer for SAINT MAUD, along with a poster that features the tagline "Your Savior Is Coming"… but this time there's an image to go along with that notification.

The new trailer is embedded above, while the new poster can be seen below.

Described as a "chilling and boldly original vision of faith, madness, and salvation in a fallen world", SAINT MAUD tells the story of

Maud, a newly devout hospice nurse, becomes obsessed with saving her dying patient’s soul — but sinister forces, and her own sinful past, threaten to put an end to her holy calling.

Morfydd Clark and Jennifer Ehle star alongside Lilly Frazer, Lily Knight, Marcus Hutton, Turlough Convery, and Rosie Sansom.

Previously set for a vague "spring 2020" release, SAINT MAUD will be reaching theatres on April 3rd.
