Tourists get lost in the haunted woods of Japan in new Temple trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

In Michael Barrett's TEMPLE, three American tourists follow a mysterious map deep into the jungles of Japan in search of an ancient temple. When spirits entrap them, their adventure quickly becomes a horrific nightmare.

Today, we've got a creepy new trailer for TEMPLE, a horror film written by Simon Barrett (THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, YOU'RE NEXT) starring Logan Huffman (PARTY MONSTER), Brandon Sklenar (GLASS JAW), and Natalia Warner (LEARNING TO BREATHE). If ventuing off into the woods alone and creepy children are your jam, you're going to be very interested in this one:

Alright, listen up, all of you adventure seekers! So long as you have the proper gear and means of survival, venturing off into the unknown is A-okay. That said, if someone warns you that traveling to a specific temple will drive you insane, you simply stay put. You might be saying to yourself, "Oh c'mon, man, that only happens in the movies." Perhaps, though even stranger things tend to happen here in the real world. So use your smarts, and go out for sushi instead. If you don't, you might end up face-to-face with a vicious little horror like you see in the image below …

TEMPLE is scheduled for a September 1st release.
