If you haven't been reading Alex Keen's JoBlo.com discourse "In Theaters Friday" about upcoming trailers, well you're doomed to spend the rest of eternity in hell watching TOYS on an endless loop. There is time to repent ye sinners and this week is a great one to start. Alex got the scoop that the trailer for Will Ferrell's TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY will be with FINAL DESTINATION 3. And in another neato little related scoop, he reveals that Sony has planned to debut the teaser trailer for SPIDER-MAN 3 with prints of, yes, TALLADEGA NIGHTS when it hits theaters on August 4th. Will we know any more about the cryptic plot by this point? Only the mischievous mind of Avi Arad knows that for sure. Do you think Avi goes home every night and cackles himself to sleep keeping all these SPIDER-MAN scoops in the dark? Spill it Avi! Sorry. Here's hoping Sony provides more of a reveal (and perhaps a sneak at the trailer) at this year's Comic-Con.

The Comic-Con before Spidey 2 was great, showing the Doc Ock origin scene (the hospital/Evil Dead homage). Maybe they will do something like that for Spidey 3.
