I know that from the very minute that the strike happened, that there was only one question on your mind; what's going on with that TRANSFORMERS sequel? Well, fear not, people, because magically, it seems like it is far enough along to proceed with pre-production, location scouting and advance VFX work, but will face serious issues if the strike continues for several months. Michael Bay also had an interesting conversation with Rotton Tomatoes, wherein he let it be known that he was planning to keep everyone on their toes with the sequel:“One thing I do know is I know how to screw them up more... We’re going to leak a lot of false information all over the place. I now know their game. They’re going to get a lot of script treatments that they think are going to be the script. They will never see the script. We’ve got scripts and treatments written up that we’re going to leak. No one’s going to know. There’s one out that’s fake right now. There are going to be many others.” All in all, this is good news in my book, since I thoroughly enjoyed the first flick and can't wait to see those Dinobots. I just hope that they can get Labeouf back, because he carried those robots in the first one.

maybe the sequel will actually
have some of the transformers speak and have character development. since the first movie was nothing more than watching some stupid bitch crack a sound code with her "guru" and watching the MIB-wannabe's walk around in their "area 51"! hmm, maybe megatron will utter more than 15 words in the new movie too!

KcMsterpce, Transformers wasn't that bad... I think your comment stems from classic Michael Bay Hate that Worthystevens is talking about, and yes, it is getting REALLY old. I went through Michael Bay Hate Phases when I saw The Rock and Armageddon, but I was pissed for like a week.

The Michael Bay hate is getting tiresome. Extremely tiresome. The guy directs movies, he's not blowing up orphanages like some of you treat him like he's doing.

Transformers wasn't without its flaws, but I've always liked Bay, even if some of his movies are utter trash.

I think it has something to do with THIS GUY DIRECTED "THE ROCK," MAN!

And his films are usually half-good anyhow (in the case of "The Island" that's quite literal).

I thought the first movie was pretty cool, then when I got the DVD I watched it again letting my brain go and enjoyed it a lot more.

If the TF2 script is anything like the TF script...why would anyone want to read it? They have a long way to go to recover from that god-awful first film, in my opinion.

Transformers? I could care less. First one was fun, but other than that?

I could see the sequel coming a mile away, no matter what happens. Lets just end this strike and start writing well written scripts rather than rushed crap.
