I know that from the very minute that the strike happened, that there was only one question on your mind; what's going on with that TRANSFORMERS sequel? Well, fear not, people, because magically, it seems like it is far enough along to proceed with pre-production, location scouting and advance VFX work, but will face serious issues if the strike continues for several months. Michael Bay also had an interesting conversation with Rotton Tomatoes, wherein he let it be known that he was planning to keep everyone on their toes with the sequel:“One thing I do know is I know how to screw them up more... We’re going to leak a lot of false information all over the place. I now know their game. They’re going to get a lot of script treatments that they think are going to be the script. They will never see the script. We’ve got scripts and treatments written up that we’re going to leak. No one’s going to know. There’s one out that’s fake right now. There are going to be many others.” All in all, this is good news in my book, since I thoroughly enjoyed the first flick and can't wait to see those Dinobots. I just hope that they can get Labeouf back, because he carried those robots in the first one.
