Shrek 4 is the last

USA Today has our first pics from SHREK FOREVER AFTER, the fourth installment of the lucrative franchise that helped make DreamWorks Animation a viable competitor to Disney. The pics, one of which you can see below as Shrek hangs with Rumpelstiltskin, are accompanied by the news that despite previous rumors, SHREK FOREVER AFTER will be the last film in the SHREK series. They also confirm that a 3D teaser trailer will premiere before AVATAR on December 18th and that Paul McCartney will NOT be voicing a character in the film.
Though this will be the last we see of SHREK, a spinoff is in the works featuring Puss N Boots and Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis). Check out the pic below and click to see the full article at USA Today.
