USA Today has our first pics from SHREK FOREVER AFTER, the fourth installment of the lucrative franchise that helped make DreamWorks Animation a viable competitor to Disney. The pics, one of which you can see below as Shrek hangs with Rumpelstiltskin, are accompanied by the news that despite previous rumors, SHREK FOREVER AFTER will be the last film in the SHREK series. They also confirm that a 3D teaser trailer will premiere before AVATAR on December 18th and that Paul McCartney will NOT be voicing a character in the film.

Though this will be the last we see of SHREK, a spinoff is in the works featuring Puss N Boots and Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis). Check out the pic below and click to see the full article at USA Today.

Forever After
Everyone is treating this series like the spider-man movies, just because the third film in the franchise sucked they hate on the entire series, the first film was the big hit, the second was pretty funny and the third was the shitty attemp to be bigger better and funnier, I'm not gonna hate on Forever After just because The Third sucked, I'll just wait for the trailer and then give my opinion....

There doesn't seem to be much love for Mike or Shrek for this article! I for one think Mike is pretty funny! I'll admit his last film The Love Guru was kinda dumb, but I liked the Shrek films. The first was great, and the third was pretty good (better than the second). I'm looking forward to this!

I loathe this series! This one will probably be the same retarded pop culture jokes that don't make sense in the setting and annoying ass side characters.

i think they should've stopped after the 1 shrek movie. but what else is mike meyers going to do? shrek is pretty much all he has going for him now. not sure about a new austin powers...can someone provide a link to that announcement?

if this is the last (which i doubt it will be after Shrek 4 brings in $200 mil) then you'll never see or hear from mike meyers again.
