Ape vs. Monster: Asylum knock-off of Godzilla vs. Kong unleashes trailer

Hey, forgot these guys still existed. Apparently Asylum – the shlock-tastic studio behind mockbuster bullshit like Transmorphers, Atlantic Rim, and Independents' Day (as well as the inexplicably popular Sharknado series) – is still a thing, as is at it again with their obvious Godzilla vs. Kong rip-off Ape vs. Monster, which you can check out at the top of the article!

Here's the official synopsis:

An ape crash-lands on Earth, which creates a sludge that makes him and a passing scorpion grow to giant-size, resulting in a fight for dominance.

Meanwhile, no official release date as of yet, but we'll keep you posted!
