Murphy is a Bastard

Eddie Murphy apparently had a little chat with Cinefex Magazine recently and confirmed that Quentin Tarantino has indeed approached him about possibly starring in his War epic INGLORIOUS BASTARDS. Here's what Murphy had to say:

Any truth to the rumors you're going to be in Quentin Tarantino's next film?

There's been talk, there's been talk. Nothing solid yet. Quentin is insane…but good insane. He came to me with an idea for another Cop (Beverly Hills Cop), and we've been talking about that, and now, he's writing me something for a war movie he's doing. Apparently…That was a few months back. If it comes off, great - he's one crazy guy worth working with.

A new BEVERLY HILLS COP? I know it sounds crazy but I'd actually be into that. Axel Foley is the man! In fact, take a listen to that theme song right HERE - it's a cheesy version but it still kicks ass!

Murphy also confirmed that he's in the new musical with Jamie Foxx titled DREAMGIRL. He mentioned:

What's next?

It's a musical that's loosely based on the story of Diana [Ross] and the Supremes. It's something…different.
