After hearing so much about MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE from Chris Bumbray, we finally get to see a trailer for the film.
Martha (Elizabeth Olsen) finds herself at a cult compound inhabited by Patrick (John Hawkes) and his minions. From the trailer it seems like Martha thinks that she’s in a safe, beautiful place until Patrick starts to speak. His obvious obsession with her, which immediately becomes creepy when he says that she looks more like a “Marcy May”, is only the beginning of a more eerie ride.
With a much buzz about performance form Olsen (yes, she related to Mary-Kate & Ashley) and the already amazing Hawkes, this looks like it will be as remarkable as Bumbray claims it to be.
