Bryce Dallas Howard in talks to join Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

TERMINATOR SALVATION and THE HELP star Bryce Dallas Howard is reportedly in negotiations to join director Colin Trevorrow's JURASSIC WORLD, according to The Wrap. Howard (daughter of director Ron Howard) has played in genre material before, including roles in SPIDER-MAN 3, THE VILLAGE, and THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, so she's certainly no stranger to big budget material. No details on what her role would be, as the lid has been kept pretty tight on this one.

The only other casting rumor we've heard for the project before Howard was John Krasinski, but everything else has been all quiet, minus the recent title change from JURASSIC PARK IV to JURASSIC WORLD. With the likelihood of the park being up and running, I would put my money on Howard's character somehow being attached to the park already. I sincerely doubt they're going to rehash the whole "specialists coming in to endorse a proposed park" thing. Any takers on that bet?

JURASSIC WORLD is set to open on June 12, 2015.
