The Pastor brothers (Álex & David Pastor) are making good stuff nowadays. They did CARRIERS and now they’re returning to the big screen with LOS ULTIMOS DIAS AKA THE LAST DAYS and we have the new trailer (below).
If you don’t understand a word of Spanish let me tell you that the plot (in English) sounds like this:
“A mysterious epidemic spreads across the planet. Humanity develops an irrational fear of open spaces that causes instant death. Soon, the world population is trapped inside buildings. As Barcelona descends into chaos, Marc sets off on a quest to find Julia, his missing girlfriend, without ever going outside.”
The movie is directed by the Pastor brothers. It was shot in Barcelona, Spain. Leticia Dolera (REC 3: Genesis), Quim Gutierrez, José Coronado, and Marta Etura all star in the Spanish post-apocalyptic thriller.
The film opens in Spain March 27th. Stay tuned for more updates on this sucker.
