Trailer: Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein with David Harbour

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

I don't know about you but I love a good mockumentary like SPINAL TAP and BEST IN SHOW. And I love me some Jim Hopper from Netflix's STRANGER THINGS. And wouldn't you just know it, these two great tastes are coming together later this month in FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER’S MONSTER, FRANKENSTEIN starring David Harbour.

The wacky-ass rundown goes a little something like this:

Join David Harbour as he uncovers lost footage from his father's televised stage play. Expect the unexpected in this over-the-top and often dramatic(ish) reimagined tale of mystery and suspense.  With appearances by Alfred Molina, Kate Berlant, and more special guests, Harbour explores the depths of his family's acting lineage to gain insight into his father's legacy – all in 28-minutes.

I don't know about you but the trailer is just silly enough to snag my interest. Plus, it kind of reminds me of WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS and the fact that the finished flick only runs about a half hour or so mean that I will be taking a trip with it's goofy-ass later this month.

Directed by Daniel Gray Longino (KROLL SHOW and PEN15) and written by John Levenstein (KROLL SHOW, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT), FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER’S MONSTER, FRANKENSTEIN starring David Harbour, Alfred Molina, Kate Berlant, Alex Ozerov, and Marion Van Cuyck launches globally on Netflix on July 16, 2019.
