Trailer: Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale

Netflix's horrific take on the Archie Comics character Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, was originally given the order for two 10-episode seasons last year. Earlier this year the first season hit the streaming giant and it was just the other day that we shared a trailer for the upcoming second season with you guys and you can check it out again RIGHT HERE.

Well, not only is the second season headed our way but before that, the teenage witch and her posse of outcasts have a holiday special jingling and jangling all the way to town. And low and behold today we have the special's trailer to further get you in the horrific holiday spirit.

Titled Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale, this holiday special has the following synopsis:

The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice – the longest night of the year – when families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors – both welcome and unwelcome – you never know what might come down the chimney…

Kiernan Shipka plays Sabrina. Her co-stars include Miranda Otto as Sabrina's disciplinarian aunt Zelda; Lucy Davis as her nurturing aunt Hilda; Ross Lynch as her love interest Harvey Kinkle; Jaz Sinclair as her best friend Rosalind Walker; Chance Perdomo as her warlock cousin Ambrose; Michelle Gomez as Sabrina's teacher Mary Wardell, who becomes possessed by the devil's handmaiden Madam Satan; Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood, High Priest of the Church of Night and Dean of the Academy of the Unseen Arts, a man with a "terrifying dark agenda"; Bronson Pinchot as Baxter High's villainous puritanical principal George Hawthorne; Alexis Denisof as the handsome and charming Adam Masters; Jedidiah Goodacre as an enigmatic club owner named Dorian Gray; and Tati Gabrielle as Prudence, leader of a trio of witches called the Weird Sisters and a character who has a possibly life-threatening grudge against Sabrina.

Netflix will be releasing the holiday special called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale on December 14th. But then we all need wait a mere four months until the second season premieres on April 5, 2019. Do you dig this gritty horror take on Sabrina? Let us know below!
