Post-secondary education can get awfully expensive and the sad truth is that not everyone is in a situation to afford it, but when you open an underground casino complete with nail saloon, massage parlor and strip club, there's really no excuse. After Scott (Will Ferrell) and Kate (Amy Poehler) lose their daughter's college fund, they team up with their neighbour (Jason Mantzoukas) in order to set up an illegal casino in the basement of his home. The latest red-band trailer for THE HOUSE gives us a glimpse into the hilarity, drunkenness and severed fingers which are part and parcel with the underground casino lifestyle.
It's nice to see a few more R-rated hijinks in this trailer, perhaps THE HOUSE will wind up being a good time. The cast is certainly quite packed with funny folks, such as Nick Kroll, Michaela Watkins and Rob Huebel, but Jason Mantzoukas easily steals the show for me.

After Scott and Kate Johansen (Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler) lose their daughter Alex’s college fund, they become desperate to earn it back so she can pursue her dream of attending a university. With the help of their neighbor Frank (Jason Mantzoukas), they decide to start an illegal casino in the basement of his house.
