Hewitt and Garfield pics

I didn't start this website back in 1998 so that I could turn into a fuddy-duddy who does nothing but complain about certain movies that I'm "sure" are gonna suck or directors against whom I will always hold personal grudges (I'm a movie fan, after all, and would like to believe that everyone will always surprise me), so despite stating very clearly that the GARFIELD teaser trailer looked like shite a few weeks ago, I'm here today to present you with a couple of promotional stills from the film, that actually make the cat look half-decent. Okay, it doesn't hurt that Jennifer Love Hewitt and her balloon breasts are hugging the adorable feline in one of the photos, but nonetheless, the cat does look pretty damn cute. Does this mean that the film will, in fact, be good good after all? I don't think so. The teaser trailer didn't do much for me and it does appear as though they're selling it as a "kid's movie". On the other hand, with Bill Murray as the "voice" of Garfield, you never know what the end result will be. I'm going to remain somewhat optimistic on this one until I see some more.
