Thanks to 'Billy A.' for recently purchasing the SAW (uncut edition) DVD which apparently includes the first 3 minutes of SAW II. I think most of you know by now that the original SAW was one of my favorite movies from last year-- in fact, we might've been one of the earliest sites to push that puppy along. That said, I was very skeptical about this "quickie sequel", but I have to admit that the marketing magic has sold me on it so far, and now that I've seen the film's first 3 minutes, I have to admit that it put me right back into that same "creepy" mood that I was as I watched the original flick last year. Check it out for yourselves at the links below, and hopefully the rest of the film will be able to maintain that same sense of ick and dread. Screen-captures below...

WTF mate?
I'm jazzed about the film, but the links aren't working for me. I am depressed as it looks like that guy's got a key in his skull...ewww. Much better than the heead gear in the first one.

Good, but flawed
The clip itself was very good. I liked the whole "look inward" message, but the editing was too fast and frantic for my tastes.

the first film was incredibly disturbing and intense, which is what i loved about it...when i see a movie like this, it's what i expect...this one is shaping up to be the same way on that disturbing and intense level...it will be able to match that of the first one, i don't doubt it one bit...what will be lost is originality (as is with most sequels) and, at least by the looks of that first thr...

The only reason I went to see the first film was because of this site's hype. I didn't hear much about it anywhere else and this one looks like it's going to be just as creepy as the last one.
