Jim Carrey In the upcoming psychological thriller THE NUMBER 23, Jim Carrey plays a man who becomes obsessed with a book he's convinced is based on his life and in doing so invites a flood of mysterious appearances of the titular number into his life. In keeping with that, New Line has released a teaser site for the film with pictures that link to external sites that are in some way connected to the number 23. Basically, as the site and the title of this article point out, the number 23 is everywhere! In fact, I started typing up this article at exactly 9:23 and the ever cool FavaBeans sent us a heads up on it at 8:23! What the hell's going on here?!?! Alright, so I may be going a little overboard but just open your eyes a little bit and you'll notice the eerie ubiquity of this number (or not). Check out the site over HERE.

Extra Tidbit: One of the sites linked on the teaser site (found HERE) explains the significance of the number.

The "Little Known Fact" website is dumb; merely coincidences - nothing more.

Very Cool Site
If only Schumacher wasn't behind this, I'd be officially excited. Nothing against Joel, but I just don't think anything from Hollywood can do a plot like this justice. Let's hope for the best, but even if it sucks, at least I have my Illuminatus! Trilogy to fall back on.
