Dougray Scott and his wife Claire Forlani will star in a contemporary adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's classic story "The Fall of the House of Usher." It will be called THE USHERS and will be shot in 3-D, with Stephen Kay (The Shield) directing. The film will follow a brother and sister who have lived in a house in Martha's Vineyard for a long time but have since begun to feel trapped there.

Wow, Dougray Scott might be the article subject that depresses me the most. He tied up Claire Forlani and he should have been Wolverine. I can't be the only person who feels that way. Also, I think THE USHERS would be an awesome film if it was about like twelve Ushers (the R&B star) in a room and if someone just ran around each of them hitting them in the nuts with a comically big sledgehammer. It wouldn't have a complex narrative arc per se, but I think the overall message of the story would be a winner.

In case you couldn't figure it out from the other comments
Scott actually WAS cast as Wolverine but then had to drop out because of injuries he sustained while filming MI:2. So, Thoo wasn't just saying some random dude should be Wolverine, this is the guy that actually was supposed to be Wolverine. That being said I'm glad he had to drop out because Jackman has been A-Okay in the role.

I know a lot of you probably already knew all that, ...

Dougray Scott was the only other name I remember hearing about as Wolverine until Hugh Jackman was officially cast in X-Men so Thoo is obviously not the only person who thought that way.

Just for the record
I love Hugh Jackman. And I think he did a fine job. But I just think he is too much of a nice guy. And IMO he can't hide it. I don't think he's visceral enough. I would like a more down and dirty Wolvie is all. It's nothing against Jackman, at all.

Scott as Wolvie?
I'm sure he would've done a fine job...but are you implying that Jackman has not worn the claws well? I think Jackman has done a great job...I would venture to say that based on their collective work, Jackman is an overall better actor as well.
